Dr. Leonard Luyt is a Professor with the Departments of Chemistry, Oncology, and Medical Imaging at Western University. He is also the principal investigator with the London Regional Cancer Program and a director of SPECT Radiochemistry and Medicinal Chemistry with the Lawson Imaging Program.
Dr. Luyt has served as a panel member for the Canadian Institutes of Health Research and the Canadian Cancer Society Research Institute and has conducted peer reviews for such publications as the Canadian Journal of Chemistry and the Journal of Nuclear Medicine. He also co-organized a session on the chemistry of molecular imaging for the Pacifichem 2015 technical program.
His research involves the design, preparation, and evaluation of new compounds for the imaging and treatment of cancer as well as for other molecular imaging modalities.
